Public toilets in the municipality

There are several public toilets in the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin, e.g. at the fairground in Hennickendorf on Ringstraße. The public toilet near the church in Herzfelde is currently not open due to vandalism damage. There is currently no public toilet in Lichtenow.

There is also a public toilet at the following cemeteries in the municipality:

  • Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße 86 in Rüdersdorf
  • Schulzenhöhe, Am Friedhof 9 in Rüdersdorf
  • Hauptstraße 66b in Herzfelde
  • Lichtenower Weg 12 in Hennickendorf.

During the summer months, mobile toilets are set up at the following locations:

  • Sports boat landing stage, Heinitzstraße in Rüdersdorf
  • Sunbathing lawn, Seestraße in Rüdersdorf
  • Kalksee bathing area, lakeside resort in Rüdersdorf
  • Bathing area, Seestraße in Hennickendorf
  • Steuersbruch, Am Heidefeld in Herzfelde

The municipality is participating in the nationwide "Nice Toilet" project. A "Nette Toilette" sticker at the entrance to participating businesses and facilities shows at a glance that the toilets are open to the public and can be used free of charge.

You are welcome to use the app "Die nette Toilette" (The nice toilet) - here you can find the opening hours of all the participants.

The water sports centre at Mühlenstraße 13 in Rüdersdorf has a faeces pump-out station for boaters. During the season, faeces can be disposed of there for a fee of 2 euros. Waste water and faeces from motorhomes can be discharged at the disposal facility in the Museum Park car park in Heinitzstraße.
