Schools
With three schools from primary school to grammar school, every school leaving certificate can be obtained in our community.
All school types are represented in Rüdersdorf near Berlin. Primary school pupils attend the two primary schools run by the municipality. Children from Lichtenow, Herzfelde and Hennickendorf attend the Stienitzsee primary school, while children from Rüdersdorf attend the Rüdersdorf primary and secondary school. Pupils in years 7 to 10 also study there and prepare for future vocational training. The Friedrich-Anton-von-Heinitz-Gymnasium, which is run by the district of Märkisch-Oderland, enables pupils to take the Abitur.
