Climate protection concept
In October 2016, the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin adopted an integrated climate protection concept. The aim of the concept is to develop a recommendation for action that will allow the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, lower its operating costs, thereby relieving the burden on the budget and generating local economic growth and thus tax revenue. Integrated climate protection concepts cover all climate-relevant areas and sectors. Components of the concept include
- Development of an updatable energy and CO2 balance sheet
- Analysing the potential for reducing CO2 emissions
- Recommendations for action in the form of a catalogue of measures
- Concepts for controlling and public relations
