From 5 to 11 August 2024, young people aged 14 and over are invited to take part in the first graffiti workshop in the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin. Together with a professional graffiti artist from the municipality, one side of the motorway subway in Waldstraße will be artistically designed every day from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., thus sustainably enhancing the townscape at this location.
There are still a few places available: participation is free of charge, but please register at jugendarbeit@ruedersdorf.de as the number of participants is limited. In addition to an introduction to the art of spraying and active participation in the design of the motorway subway, the young people will be provided with a free lunch every day.
The project arose from a wish of the municipal council to design the numerous motorway subways in the municipality in an appealing way. The project is financed by the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin - the district of Märkisch-Oderland is also subsidising the project as part of its youth development programme.
