On 15 October 2024, 5 pm, the town hall exhibition "Life Intersection - Lebens-Knotenpunkte" by Gisèle Nubuhoro will open in the council chamber of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin (Hans-Striegelski-Straße 5, 15562 Rüdersdorf bei Berlin).
The artist, who lives in Rüdersdorf near Berlin, discovered her passion for painting more than 10 years ago. In her free time, the accountant creates abstract acrylic paintings in palette knife and mixed media.
"My artworks take you on a journey through my personal experiences. They contain a message of hope for people on the run and for society as a whole, a message of humanity and tolerance," says Nubuhoro in the run-up to the exhibition.
As part of the exhibition opening, the artist will provide insights into her work, creative processes and inspiration. The programme will be accompanied by music from the Hugo Distler Music School. The exhibition will then be freely accessible in the town hall corridors on the 1st and 2nd floors during general opening hours until 3 January 2025.
