The cycling concept of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin provides for the creation of a cycle connection from the Hennickendorf district to Herrensee railway station as measure Ö4. In order to implement the cycling concept, BSR will create the path between its composting facility and the municipal boundary to Rehfelde from 4 November 2024 in coordination with the municipality. A proper gravel base layer will be laid over a width of around 3.5 metres and a length of around 480 metres. The path next to the BSR premises has already been constructed, creating a cycle path section of over 900 metres. However, the path is still passable for cyclists.
For the section between Klosterdorfer Straße and the composting plant, land issues still need to be clarified.
