In Waldstraße, the existing length of the traffic lights will be extended from 250 metres to 330 metres. As a result, longer standstill and clearance times must be planned. In order to avoid one-way traffic, but also not to jeopardise the response times of the ambulances, a passing place will be created. This is located just before the first entrance to the Seebad residential area. The passing place will only be used to divert oncoming traffic when an emergency vehicle enters the construction site. The reason for the extension is so that the construction work, in particular the sewer construction, can continue. Furthermore, the first section of the footpath and cycle path through the forest will most likely be completed at the beginning of the 9th calendar week, so that residents will no longer have to use the unpaved forest path with its temporary lighting.
