From Monday, 19 October 2020, work will be carried out on the gas storage site in Rüdersdorf for around five weeks. A so-called snubbing rig will be used, which resembles a drilling rig and is expected to be visible from afar. During the work, pipes will be installed in the existing cavern boreholes. After completion, the snubbing rig will be dismantled.
The work has been authorised by the mining authority and will be carried out during the day from Monday to Saturday.
