On 27 August 2022, the "Bunte Meile - Das Fest an der B1" will take place for the first time from 10 am to 4 pm in the Herzfelde industrial estate (OT Herzfelde, Eichen-/Ulmenstraße area, 15378 Rüdersdorf near Berlin) under the patronage of the District Administrator of Märkisch-Oderland, Gernot Schmidt. It replaces the traditional trade mile and expands the offer from a pure trade show to a colourful festival for the whole family, where crafts and trades as well as our associations present themselves. There will be many exciting presentations and insights on individual theme islands such as steel and cement, wood, health and transport. Together, we will show that the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin is not only an attractive place to work, but also a place to live with a wide range of local offers.
Visitors can also look forward to a varied cultural programme with Leona Heine & Friends, the Hennickendorf Folk Choir, Helio, the Rüdersdorf Carnival Community and The Fellows. There will also be various hands-on activities, factory tours and a wide range of information about the companies and organisations presenting themselves. Many companies open their doors on site. Experience exciting insights into the impressive factory halls as well as surprising views from a crane gondola. There will be puppet theatre, pony rides, go-karting and a bouncy castle for children. Food and drink will of course be provided. Admission to the event is free of charge.
There is a car park in Birkenstraße for those arriving by car. A shuttle bus will run from the centre of Herzfelde (church stop) to the Colourful Mile on this day. Line 950 between the Strausberg and Erkner S-Bahn stations will run every 30 minutes between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., making it easy to get to the event by public transport.
A list of participating clubs and companies can be found at buntemeile.ruedersdorf.de.
