Flag flying on the day of liberation from National Socialism and the end of the Second World War in Europe

In the days of 20 and 21 April 1945, the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin was liberated from the Nazi terror regime by Red Army troops; a few days later, on 8 May, the Wehrmacht surrendered unconditionally.

On the occasion of this day of liberation, the public buildings are flagged, as is the Rüdersdorf town hall.
