Now that the lockdown is over, the bivouac site at the sports boat landing stage can also be used. The bivouac meadow was created as part of the redesign of the site and offers paddling enthusiasts a simple and free overnight accommodation option directly on the Strausberger Mühlenfließ at the gates of the museum park.
Until 31 October, a maximum of 4 tents (4 persons each) can be pitched at the same time on the designated meadow. A dry toilet is available.
Thanks to the newly created slipway, it is easy to pull the canoes out of the water. Mooring at the sports boat jetty is possible all year round. The maximum mooring time is 24 hours. There are two power columns at the landing stage, each with four charging points, available for a fee. Keys are available at the ticket office of the museum park.
Due to the current high risk of forest fires, open fires are strictly prohibited at the bivouac site.
