This form server ensures that the election proposal is created in a standardised and legible form and that the candidate data is identical in all attachments.
Once the entries have been completed, a PDF document is generated, which must be printed out by the person submitting the election proposal and on which the personal and handwritten signatures must be affixed. In addition to submitting the original to the electoral officer of the municipality, the election proposal can also be submitted electronically. The submission of the original cannot be waived.
But using the form server has the following advantages:
- The attachments are logically linked to each other. This means that all other necessary attachments are automatically generated when Appendix 5a is completed and there is no need to enter the applicant's data multiple times
- Electronic transmission to the electoral officer of the municipality means that the candidates' data is already available electronically and does not have to be entered manually for further processing of this data (printing ballot papers, public announcements, etc.), thus avoiding potential sources of error
The election proposal generated via the form server can be sent by email. This e-mail is automatically sent from the form server to the official mailbox of the responsible municipality. This transmission method ensures that the candidate data is transmitted securely via the state administration network.
Use of the form assistant is of course voluntary.
