Mayor André Schaller opened a new photo exhibition in the town hall of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin on 10 June 2014 at around 3.30 pm. The photo exhibition organised by the Rüdersdorf Photo Friends is entitled "Nature and Technology". The photo club works under the direction of Florian Knobel (Bürgerzentrum Brücke).
After the mayor's opening words, Mr Knobel explained the exhibition and the photo club, which currently has 14 active members. Anyone interested is welcome to join the photo club at any time. The children's photo club "Kleine Knipser" has also recently opened its doors to the little ones.
The photo club then thanked Mr Knobel for his dedicated work with a bouquet of flowers. This was presented by Mrs Carla Voigt, a member of the Rüdersdorfer Fotofreunde.
Afterwards, the time was used for a tour of the exhibition and for interesting discussions. The motifs of the photo exhibition are very diverse - whether transformer houses on the Kesselsee, excavators in open-cast mining or views of the Brocken and the banks of the Spree in Berlin. The pictures on display are well worth a visit.
The exhibition can be viewed until 10 September 2014 during the opening hours of Rüdersdorf Town Hall.
