The municipality's cemetery bylaws were published in the January edition of the official gazette of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin. Section 1 (7) includes the closure of the cemetery in Tasdorf. This led to confusion among some citizens because it could have given the impression that the entire Tasdorf cemetery was closed.
The Tasdorf cemetery has consisted of two sections since 2002. The rear part of the cemetery (around the chapel) is a municipal cemetery. This communal part is closed. No burials or interments are permitted there, to which §7 Para. 1 refers. This still only applies to the communal section.
The front section is managed by the Protestant parish. Burials and interments are still possible in the ecclesiastical section. Registrations are made via the Protestant parish of Rüdersdorf. The mourning hall will also continue to be made available by the parish for funerals.
