Look who's sitting there in the grass!
Isn't that the Easter bunny?
Peeps out of the green nest with his long ear

Hops over hill and dale with his fast leg
.
Look what's in the nest
, so round and so firm:
Eggs spotted red and blue
he has hidden in the nest.
He must hide them well,
searches quickly in every corner!
