The cemetery administration of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin is obliged to have the stability of the gravestones checked at least once a year.
The stability check in accordance with §9 of the accident prevention regulations for cemeteries and crematoria (VSG 4.7) will be carried out this year on 2 and 3 June 2020 by the specialist company "Ingenieurbüro für Bauwerksprüfung - Dipl. Ing. (FH) Ballast".
The gravestones of the following cemeteries are inspected:
- Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße
- Old Rüdersdorf
- Lichteniw
- Hennickendorf
- Herzfelde
- Schulzenhöhe
- Limestone mountains
If there are indications that the stability of gravestones, other structures or parts thereof is no longer ensured, the authorised users responsible for maintenance are obliged to remedy the situation immediately.
These gravestones will be provided with a corresponding warning sticker. The authorised users will also receive a request to have the stability of the gravestone restored.
If the deadline is not met, the cemetery administration may remove the gravestone at your expense or place it in a safe place and initiate proceedings for a fine. The costs for this shall be borne by the authorised users.
