For the sixth time, the Brücke community centre and Kultur GmbH started the year with a Jolkafest (Russian Christmas) in Rüdersdorf's Kulturhaus. Around 200 guests, including some children, celebrated and enjoyed presents and the programme. The programme was supported by pupils from the Carl Bechstein Gymnasium Erkner and the Linedance Kids, as well as the traditional Rüdersdorf International show group. Mechthilde vom Kalkofen hosted the programme. Many thanks to all those who volunteered to help prepare and organise the event. We hope to be able to celebrate Jolka in Rüdersdorf again next year.
