To support residents with street cleaning, this year we want to try out handing out leaf bags free of charge.
We would like to point out that the leaf bags are only intended for the leaves of the street trees, which accumulate as part of the residents' street cleaning obligation.
Other leaf bags (not issued by the municipality) are not collected by the building yard!
If the leaf bags are misused (disposal of leaves or rubbish from the property, rubbish disposal etc.) we will have to revert to the old system (€1 per bag). We very much hope for your co-operation here.
The administration will carry out an evaluation after the autumn season.
The leaf bags are now being handed out at the following distribution points:

Leaf bags will be collected in all districts between 13 October 2020 and 22 December 2020, on Tuesdays.
The leaf bags must be placed in front of the property by 6.30 am on the day of disposal.
In order to avoid unnecessary empty trips by the building yard, we ask you to register the locations of the leaf bags (district, street, house number) in advance by calling the following telephone number:

The district's green waste bags must be used for the disposal of all other green waste!
Information on green waste collection can be obtained from the EMO waste advice centre on 03341 / 354 7013 and on the website www.maerkisch-oderland.de/abfallentsorgung.
Leaves, grass cuttings, unwooded hedge cuttings, mixed garden waste, shrubbery up to 20 cm in diameter, logs and stumps are also accepted in the
