Due to their desolate condition, many benches in our cemeteries were removed this year. New seating has been added to replace them, such as the newly created tree bench around a weeping willow in Hennickendorf. A number of new stool benches have been added to the other cemeteries. In addition to the classic bench with a backrest, a model with robust granite legs and a seat made of UV-resistant WPC material is used here. This plastic-wood mixture offers a deceptively real wood look and is also completely weather and UV-resistant, making it easy to maintain and durable.
The range of cemetery benches will be continuously expanded over the coming years. This will create new places for moments of reflection, remembrance and commemoration of the deceased.
We are aware of the lack of seating in our cemeteries. However, we would like to ask you not to set up your own benches. Please let us know what you would like so that we can include this in our planning
