Town hall reopens to the public on 11 May

Press release 2020/19 of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin

From next Monday, 11 May 2020, the town hall of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin will reopen all departments to the public. Prior appointment is required. At the same time, it must be an urgent visit to the authorities, which cannot be done by telephone or email.
The prerequisite for the opening that has now been implemented is that the best possible protection for visitors and employees can be guaranteed. For this reason, employees will be provided with face masks for appointments. Visitors to the town hall must wear a face mask. Disinfectant dispensers are set up at the entrances to the building. The minimum distance of 1.5 metres must be maintained in the town hall itself and at the entrances. Citizens will be met at the entrance doors and asked to arrive punctually at the agreed appointment.
The request must be made in advance by telephone or email. A decision is then made together with the staff on site as to whether an appointment at the town hall is necessary. The correct contact person can be found on the website of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin or you can be put through to the central telephone number (033638 850). The same rules apply to the municipal building yard in Hennickendorf.

The face shield visors now in use were provided to both the town hall and the Friedrich Wilhelm von Reden Library by the local company Akustik und Optik Meyer, for which Mayor Sabine Löser expressed her thanks on behalf of the entire building: "We are generally an open house and are always happy to have direct contact with the residents. At the same time, the current situation is forcing us to impose restrictions. I am therefore all the more pleased that, thanks to the face visors provided by Akustik und Optik Meyer, we have now been able to partially open the town hall while providing the best possible protection for our employees."
