Due to a technical fault, the sirens have been running longer than usual for a few days now. In principle, the signal tone for alerting the fire brigade is a continuous tone of three waves rising and falling within one minute.
For around two days, however, all sirens in the districts have been running for around three minutes. The problem has already been reported to the responsible regional control centre and they are working hard to solve the problem.
It is not possible to completely dispense with the sirens.
