As part of the construction work on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, a wastewater pressure pipe, a medium-voltage pipe and a gas pipe have to be relocated in the intersection with Fürstenwalder Straße. This requires a full closure of the junction. The work will be carried out by specialised companies and will be coordinated with each other. The junction at the corner of Fürstenwalder Straße and Karl-Liebknecht-Straße is expected to be fully closed for a total of 5 weeks from 16 June 2021 .
Originally, a two-week full closure was planned. However, consultation with all the specialist companies has revealed that a quicker solution is unfortunately not possible.
The official diversion route will continue to be via the B1/5 and Tasdorf, so that the area can be widely bypassed. Special signage will be put up in good time to indicate the adapted situation for local residents. Those directly affected will also be informed by flyer.
