Press release 2023/31 of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin
Next Sunday (3 September 2023, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), the kick-off event for CITY CYCLING in the district of Märkisch-Oderland and the next applicant day of the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin (12 p.m. to 2 p.m.) will take place on the grounds of FC Wacker Herzfelde 1925 e.V. (OT Herzfelde, Möllenstraße 12, 15378 Rüdersdorf bei Berlin). Interested parties can submit quick applications to the HR department directly on site or talk about the municipality's job offers in a relaxed atmosphere.
As the winning municipality of last year's CITY CYCLING event, the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin is organising the kick-off event for this year's three-week cycling event. The festival at the Herzfelde sports field offers a colourful programme:

| 13:30 | Martial arts demonstration and hands-on event organised by DOKAN Kampfkunst Lichtenow e.V. |
Throughout the day, guests can prepare their own fresh drinks on a smoothie bike free of charge. Auf den Punkt Catering will be offering healthy snacks and drinks and FC Wacker Herzfelde will have a barbecue stand.
In addition, two bike shops, S3 Velo from Strausberg and Gebrüder Wurster from Woltersdorf, will be presenting the latest bike trends and offering free bike checks and repair tips. Exclusive models from the Kalkhoff brand will also be on display. Test rides are of course possible.
There will also be the opportunity to have your bike coded (on presentation of proof of ownership and ID) or to test your skills on the children's bike course organised by the traffic police.
The municipality invites you to take part in a 20 km cycle tour through all parts of the town from 10 am, which is expected to arrive at the festival site at around 11.30 am. The tour starts at 10 am at the village green in Lichtenow and continues via the Hennickendorf fairground (10:20 am), Tasdorf, the Rüdersdorf market square (11 am), Potsda-mer Platz (11:10 am) to Herzfelde. It is possible to join the cycle tour at any time along the route. The kick-off event for CITY CYCLING also marks the start of the Rüdersdorf Health Days.
