Press release 33/2020 of the district of Märkisch-Oderland
From 30 March to probably 19 April 2020, public transport in Märkisch-Oderland will be switched to the holiday timetable.
The reduction in the bus timetable is due to the significantly reduced capacity utilisation of the bus routes. The various measures taken by the state and district to restrict public life with the aim of slowing down the corona pandemic are having an impact here.
The basis for this decision is, in particular, the evaluation of the use of emergency care at primary schools in the district of Märkisch-Oderland on 23 March 2020 and the low passenger demand since the schools closed on 18 March 2020.
