Temporary thinning out of the bus timetable
From 17 January 2022, the bus timetable in the direction of the hospital and from the hospital in the direction of Rüdersdorf will be temporarily restricted.
Background:
On 17 January 2022, one-way traffic will be introduced in connection with the construction work on Waldstraße. The affected sections will also be equipped with traffic lights. This can be switched to free flow in the direction of Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße by the emergency vehicles of the rescue service and fire brigade, as well as by the public buses of the transport companies and a few individual vehicles with special supply tasks by means of transponders. This ensures that the rescue times of the emergency services and fire brigade in particular are adhered to. The public bus can also run most of the time without interfering with the existing timetable. However, the contractors TRP GmbH and STRABAG AG informed us today that the number of transponders required by the municipality to switch the traffic lights cannot be provided by 17 January 2022.
In order to be able to equip the emergency services with sufficient transponders, the bus companies cannot be provided with the required quantity. However, there will be restrictions in the bus timetable until the delivery of the re-ordered transponders, which has been promised by the contractor for the week after next at the latest. If you have to use the bus, please find out in good time whether your bus is affected by this. The municipality of Rüdersdorf will do everything in its power to keep this situation as short as possible. In this context and due to enquiries, however, we would also like to point out that no further transponders can be issued to other persons or companies now or later.
Waste disposal
In connection with the disposal of household waste, yellow bags, etc., the municipality has obliged the contracted companies to collect the bins and bags in the one-way street area from the front door on the day of disposal and bring them to a central location or back to the front door after emptying. We ask all those affected to mark the bins so that they can be clearly assigned by the construction company. Otherwise they will have to be collected by the residents themselves. Those affected will receive a separate letter from the construction company.
