Recently, there has again been an increase in the number of illegal loitering and music parties on the site of the former feed phosphate plant (old chemical factory) in Gutenbergstraße. The public order office of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin would therefore like to point out that the entire site is privately owned. This is clearly marked with signs at the entrance gate.
Unfortunately, access to the site is gained in many different ways. We would like to make it very clear once again that these actions constitute a criminal offence of trespassing:
§ Section 123 StGB - Trespassing
"(1) Anyone who unlawfully enters the home, business premises or secured property of another or locked rooms intended for public service or traffic, or who, if he remains there without authorisation, does not leave when requested to do so by the authorised person, shall be punished with imprisonment for up to one year or a fine."
In all operations in the past, appropriate charges were brought against all persons encountered.
In addition, the site of the old chemical plant poses a considerable risk to life and limb. For example, the buildings are badly damaged, including the roofs. There are also pits, holes, etc. everywhere - some of which are not immediately visible.
For this reason, the district of Märkisch-Oderland also has a general ban on unauthorised access to the site.
Even if it may seem like a big adventure playground, the dangers should not be underestimated!
Both the police and the public order office regularly check the site. If unauthorised persons are found, the police will report them for trespassing. In addition, the public order office will impose fines for illegal music events in violation of the State Immission Control Act.
For your own safety, please do not enter the grounds under any circumstances!
Thank you for your co-operation.
