Arbitration board

Mediation instead of judgement

Arbitration board

Why an arbitration board?

The Arbitration Board is responsible for neighbour disputes as well as minor property disputes. The Arbitration Board is also responsible for breaches of honour and minor offences.

Following election by the members of the municipal council and swearing-in at the local court, there have been three new arbitrators for the municipality of Rüdersdorf bei Berlin since the beginning of 2021.

Ms Sissis-Peisker as chairperson and Ms Antoniak and Ms Krause as deputies are your contacts if you need support with neighbourly disputes and other conflicts:

"As different as our reasons for applying may have been, we are united in our desire to fulfil this honorary position.

We have acquired the necessary expertise in a wide variety of areas of life and work, always focussing on dealing with people. As a result, you can expect an impartial and confidential process.

Although it is called the "Arbitration Board", we do not pass judgement, but above all we want to and should mediate! We make sure that not every dispute ends up in court and leads to a long and cost-intensive process.

Conflicts between neighbours occur time and again when living together. Sometimes it's the tree or the fence that makes you feel disturbed, sometimes it's the constant parties. We want to be a point of contact in good time so that this doesn't turn into a protracted and unpleasant dispute for everyone involved.

We offer our help by guiding discussions, working out compromises with the parties and finding an amicable solution that everyone feels is a win-win situation."

Let's work together to make living together in the municipality of Rüdersdorf less conflictual and therefore more beautiful!
