In local elections, which take place every five years in Brandenburg, citizens elect representatives for their local advisory councils, municipal councils, city councils and district assemblies, as well as honorary mayors and local chairmen. The local elections in Brandenburg took place on 9 June 2024. The voter turnout was 58.6 %.
