As the name suggests, the Bergkapelle Rüdersdorf e.V. is based in Rüdersdorf near Berlin. It is the northernmost mountain band in Germany. It is a traditional ensemble that has established itself as an integral part of the regional cultural landscape thanks to its direct connection to the local mining industry. The orchestra has 20 active members and is under the musical direction of Markus Mokosch.

The repertoire ranges from traditional polkas and marches to musical and operetta melodies and more modern soundscapes, such as those from the legendary swing era or the rock and pop genres of recent decades. The Bergkapelle Rüdersdorf e.V. will also provide the right festive setting for your event. Dressed in traditional miners' uniforms, the 27-member orchestra plays a wide range of orchestral entertainment music. Numerous instrumental soloists from the orchestra impress and inspire the broad audience.
